How this is measured
caseledge tracks 27 legal practice management vendors. Current pricing is scraped from each vendor's public pricing page; historical pricing is reconstructed from Internet Archive (Wayback Machine) snapshots. "Entry-tier price" is the lowest published per-seat monthly price across a vendor's tiers. Vendors that gate pricing behind a demo request are reported as gated, never estimated. The historical trend is computed per vendor, comparing each vendor's earliest observed price to its latest, because Wayback coverage differs across vendors. Full method: caseledge.com/methodology.

Of 27 tracked vendors, 13 publish a usable per-seat price. 10 gate pricing entirely, and 4 list tiers without naming a price. Among priced vendors, entry-tier cost ranges from $6.90 to $149 per user per month, with a median of $49.
Vendors that offer annual billing discount it by a median of 11% versus monthly. Median entry-tier price by target firm size:
- solo: $49 per user per month (n=9)
- small: $49 per user per month (n=11)
- mid: $40.50 per user per month (n=6)

12 vendors have enough Wayback history for a like-for-like comparison. Of those, 5 raised their entry-tier price, 5 held it flat, and 2 cut it. The median change across the cohort is 0.0%.
Each line below is one vendor, drawn from its first observed price to its latest. The x-axis is "first" versus "latest", not calendar time: vendors entered the Wayback record at different dates, so a shared time axis would misrepresent the data.
