§ IThe report

Legal-Tech Pricing Transparency Index, by caseledge. Permalink: https://caseledge.com/pricing-index/. Data through 2026-05-31. Last updated 2026-05-31.

§ IIQuotable figures

  • The median legal practice management platform starts at $49 per user per month, across 13 vendors that publish a price.
  • 10 of 27 vendors gate pricing entirely, requiring a demo request before any number is shown.
  • Entry-tier pricing ranges from $6.90 to $149 per user per month, a 21.6x spread.
  • Of 12 vendors with usable price history, 5 raised entry-tier pricing and 2 cut it; the median change is 0.0%.

§ IIIMethodology in brief

caseledge tracks 27 legal practice management vendors. Current pricing is scraped from each vendor's public pricing page; historical pricing is reconstructed from Internet Archive snapshots. "Entry-tier price" is the lowest published per-seat monthly price across a vendor's tiers. Gated vendors are never estimated. The historical trend compares each vendor's earliest observed price to its latest, because archive coverage differs across vendors. Full method: caseledge.com/methodology.
