What are caseledge free tools?

Calculators, templates, quizzes, and validators built for US law firms making practice management decisions. Every tool is grounded in the caseledge vendor pricing dataset and editorial research.

Are these tools really free?

Yes. No account, no credit card, no email gate. Use them as often as you want. We monetize through affiliate relationships with the legal software vendors we cover, never through the tools themselves.

How accurate are the calculators?

Pricing inputs reflect the most recent Wayback Machine and live verification snapshots in our vendor database, refreshed weekly. Results are estimates, not legal or financial advice. Verify with vendors before contracting.

Can I use the templates for real client work?

The templates are starting points for hourly, flat-fee, or contingency matters. Always review against your jurisdiction's rules of professional conduct and adapt language to the matter before sending to a client.

How is caseledge different from vendor-published calculators?

Vendor calculators are designed to recommend the vendor that built them. Ours compare multiple practice management platforms head to head using the same input fields, so the recommendation is driven by your firm shape, not vendor marketing.

How often do new tools ship?

Three new tools per week, generated and reviewed by an internal pipeline that scores each one on completeness, accuracy, user value, and SEO hygiene before it goes live. Tools that score below the publish threshold land in a manual review queue.

Found a mistake or want a tool that doesn't exist yet?

Email editorial@caseledge.com with the URL or the use case. Bug fixes ship the same week. New tool requests get added to the catalog if the underlying search volume warrants it.

Do you store the data I enter?

Template tools send your inputs to our serverless endpoint for one Claude API call, then discard them. We do not log, store, or retrain on your inputs. Calculator and validator inputs never leave your browser.
